I focus on the cultural events that fall under the radar. Major venues such as the Segerstrom Center for the Arts are well-publicized. I won’t address them unless there is a compelling event.
Did you know that the OC and LA are awash in art and culture? This site captures and informs you of what is going on. Indeed, we live in cultural wonderlands, not the cultural wastelands as popularly portrayed.
My current challenge is how to capture all the live music events and venues in the region and enter them in my culture calendar. There are so many, their calendars change so often (when they elect to publicize their calendars) and I don’t have the opportunity to preview the music. Still working on that.
