Violinist Phillip Levy and pianist Tae Yeon Lim are back by popular demand! Their program, titled Poetry & Passion in Music, brings us music by Mozart, Schumann and Kreisler.
April 13:
Pianist Lukasz Yoder, recently graduated from UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music with a degree in piano performance, charms us with Purely Chopin, featuring some of the composer’s most enduring and beautiful solo piano works.
May 11:
Pianist Xiao Chen, on the piano faculty at Mount St. Mary’s University, showcases a range of American composers in her program titled All American, with works from familiar music icons Gershwin, Bernstein and Joplin, to Amy Beach, Richard Danielpour and Florence Price.
June 8:
Sri Lankan tenor Emesh Wijewardena and New Zealand soprano Emily Scott team up for an exciting program titled Viva l’Opera: A Grand Concert of Italian Masterpieces, featuring favorites from operas such as La Traviata and La Bohème. Accompanied by pianist Diane Ketchie. Co-sponsored by THE OPERA BUFFS INC.
