$20June 2: Sharing the Joy of Music
The program is a reflection on the musical styles from Bach to Broadway that the ensemble has shared with their audiences through 42 seasons. Classical, folk, spirituals, patriotic, musical theater and songs from the “Great American Songbook.”
Lisa Naulls, mezzo-soprano, is the featured artist of this program. She is known for her exciting interpretations of spirituals and gospel music. Ms. Naulls has sung with symphony orchestras in Hawaii, Berlin and Vienna. She has been a featured soloist in Verizon Amphitheater, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Hollywood Bowl and Carnegie Hall; and has played leading roles in various operas.
